He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Myers Weddington and Della Mae Huffman Weddington; his former wife Patsy Kelly Weddington; and also Wayne Myers Weddington. He is survived by: his wife Hildred Linn Weddington; his children, Randy Weddington (Jodi) of Concord and Lugena Weddington Pevoto of Rockingham, NC; his stepson Terry Hugh Linn (Cathy) of Tega Cay, SC.; and his grandchildren, Brandon Eugene Pevoto, Ariel Grace Weddington, Griffin Thomas Beesley, John Walker Linn, Thomas Hugh Linn, Andrew Mcleod Linn and Susan Elizabeth Evenhouse. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County 5003 Hospice Ln, Kannapolis, NC 28081-5784.
