He was predeceased by: his parent Alton Forest Hockenberry; his former wife Faye White Sullivan Hockenberry; and his brother Donald David Hockenberry. He is survived by: his parent Lois Coan Hockenberry; his wife Arlene Nichols Hockenberry; and his stepchildren, Vanessa Byers (Tommy) of Meadows, Dana Lucas of Fayetteville, TN and Mark Nichols (Toni) of Prescott, IA. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and his faithful canine companion.
