She was predeceased by: her parents, James Haynes and Ethel Wentz Haynes; and her son Terry Belk. She is survived by: her husband Reece "Pete" Belk; her son Ricky Belk of Lexington; her grandchildren, Dana Belk of Concord, Carrie, Ryan Brotherton of China Grove and Charlie Belk of France; her great grandchildren, Patrick, Kristen Belk of Kannapolis, Leah Canterbury of Ohio, Tay Brotherton of Salisbury and Evan Brotherton of China Grove; her great great grandchild Sawyer Brotherton of Salisbury; and her granddaughter Erika Galloway of Concord.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3800 Shamrock Dr, Charlotte, NC 28215 in honor of her devoted love and compassion that she gave her husband.
