In the sacred silence of farewell, Ernestine is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ernest Lawrence Bevins and Daisy Marie Matlock Bevins; and her daughters, Gayla Iles (Dennis), Joi Kieffer, Debra Keener (Jimmy) and Jerri Steinbrook. She was also cherished by six grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Ernestine worked for GE for many years and after her retirement she volunteered at RSVP where she coordinated travel to appointments for those in need.
