She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Leonard Aldridge and Willie Mae Starnes Aldridge; her husband Henry Lee Gulledge; and her sisters, Lois Miliam and Annie Stacks.

She is survived by: her children, Cathy Godsey of Kannapolis and Donnie Milam; and her brothers, Edward Aldridge (Kannapolis), Bobby Aldridge of Salisbury and Clegg "Tiger" Aldridge of Badin. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
