It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elder Rom Kerley of Kannapolis, North Carolina, born in Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on October 8, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rom Z. Kerley and Fannie Blackwelder Kerley; his wife Naomi Kate Hardy Kerley; his daughter Kimberly Denise Hill; and his siblings, Dwight Kerley, Maynard Kerley, Ralph Kerley, Lucille Walker and Pauline Dancy.
He is survived by: his daughter Carol K. Eagle (Randy); his son-in-law Raymond Grant Hill; his grandchildren, Kris Eagle (Emily), Casey Bradley (Jason), Dustin Woodard (B. J. McCombs) and Ashley Cates (Shaun); his great grandchildren, Sydney Pless, Zane Pless, Sophia Eagle, Nadia Orlowski, Evan Orlowski and Marine Tristan Hayes; and his sister Margie Hardy (J. B.).
