She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxon Goudy and Elda Irene Marshall Goudy; and her siblings, Donald Goudy, William Goudy, Wade Goudy, Maxine Thomas and Mildred Hall.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Avery Canup; her children, Ronald Canup (Cheryl) of York, PA, Bryan Canup of Bossick City, LA, Vicky Stec (Ronald) of Orlando, FL, Dana Shrader (Wayne) of Westminster, MD, Karla Baldwin (Steven) of Baltimore, MD and Kendra Nance (John) of Griffin, GA; her siblings, Maxon Goudy Jr., James Goudy (Karen), Florence Barnes and Jessie Borges; and her sisters-in-law, Yolanda Goudy and Mary Goudy. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kerr Memorial Baptist Church, 25 NC Hwy 49 S Concord, NC 28025.
