He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl James Poole and Mary Lou Edison Poole; his wife Nancy Carolyn Teal Poole; and his siblings, Betty Strickland, Linda Power, Barbara Mauldin and Homer Poole.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Sue Kirk (Jeff) of Locust; his siblings, Ronnie Poole (Linda) of Kannapolis and Lois Wyatt (Tommy) of China Grove; and his stepgrandsons, Jimmy Brown (Marie) and Shane (Tracy).
The family requests that memorials be made to Landis Baptist Church, 110 N. Kimmons St, Landis, NC 28088.
