She was predeceased by: her parents, Hammitte Sells and Emily Burris; and her husband Hugh Augustus Eckard. She is survived by: her granddaughters, Jennifer Cannon (Dana Grubb) and Angie Short (Mike Morgan); her son Gerald Oliphant (Fran); her great grandchildren, Seth Oliphant (Annie) and Chase Cannon; her stepdaughter Cathy Eckard Weaver; her stepgranddaughter Heather Morales; her stepgreat-grandson Lorenzo R. Morales; and her half-brother Huston Sells.
