He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Lee Raffaldt and Esther Moree Raffaldt; and his brothers, James, Winford, Roy Lee, David, Emmanuel, Jerry, Dwight, Lawson and Robert Raffaldt.

He is survived by: his sons, Justin Raffaldt of Kannapolis, Scott Raffaldt of Kannapolis, Johnny Horne (Linnea) of Kannapolis and Donnie R. Raffaldt, Jr. of Kannapolis. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
