We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2021, at the age of 89, Donato Cassese of Kannapolis, North Carolina, born in Westbury, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip William Cassese and Julia Rose Palmese; his wife Genevieve Agnes Cassese; and his siblings, Joseph Cassese and Rose Nolan.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Donald Cassese, Eddie Cassese, Barbara Heslin, Kathy Fezza, Lisa Sandman, Jim Theiss and Ray Theiss; and his sisters, Louisa Bruno and Mary Ann Bell.
