He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Alexander Castor of Kannapolis and Helen Smith Castor of Kannapolis; his former wife Shirley Petty Castor; and his siblings, David L. Castor of Cary, NC and Martha Castor Sigmon of Newton, NC..
He is survived by: his brother Philip L. Castor; his daughters, Alicia Castor Jones (Chris) of Huntersville, Adriana Castor Bain (Brian) of Concord and Ann Castor Wayne of Concord; his grandchildren, Isaiah Wayne (Candy) of Davidson, Heather Wayne Spreen (Darren) of Denver and Daniel Wayne (Jessica) of Concord; his children, Zac and Zoe Castor; and his wife Ellen Hartsell Castor.
