She was predeceased by: her father David Therrell; and her siblings, Clay Eugene Melton and Julia Melton Sloop. She is survived by: her mother Sherry Green Therrell of Kannapolis; her husband Tommy Overcash of Kannapolis; her children, Todd Alan Overcash (Amanda), Melissa Lamb (Bryson) of Kannapolis and Bill Lowery (Jennie) of Mooresville; her grandchildren, Paisley, Parker Overcash, Kristen, Ashton Lamb, Evan, Jonah Lowery, Emily and Natalie Meehan; and her brother Donald Melton of Rockwell.
