She was predeceased by: her mother Annie Belle Basinger Burgess; and her husband Earl Machner. She is survived by: her father William "Bill" Burgess of Kannapolis; her siblings, Karen Lambert of Kannapolis and Neil Burgess (Lisa) of China Grove; and her nieces and nephews, Brittney Burgess, Molly Burgess, Colby Burgess, Summer Lambert, Jack Russell and Buddy.
