He is survived by: his wife Carol Stewart Nichols; his children, Michael David Nichols, David Scott Nichols (Jennifer) and Kelly Cook (Wayne); his grandchildren, Andrew Nichols (Stefanie), Olivia, Mackenzie and Brandon Nichols; and his great grandchildren, Breighlee and Adella.
