He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jasper Barr and Minnie Estelle Lail Barr; his wife Eloise White Barr; his son Steven Barr; and his sisters, Betty, Ruth and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Trexler (Mike) of Salisbury, Lori Shue (Terry) of Concord and Phil Barr (Diane) of Kannapolis; and his brothers, Paul Barr of Kannapolis and Bobby Barr of Kannapolis. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
