It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darren Davis of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on September 14, 2021, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Terry L. Davis and Connie Hampton Davis; his son Desmond Parks; his sister Leticia Wheeler; and his grandparents, Katherine Hampton, Eugene Alexander, Willie and Myrtle Davis.
He is survived by: his siblings, Donna Elliott of Kannapolis and Terry L. Davis, Jr. of Kannapolis; his half-siblings, Bonita Woodard (Roland) of Kannapolis, Kristi Johnson of Washington, DC and Terry Johnson of Washington, DC; and his close friends, Valerie McLendon of Kannapolis, Marcus Scott of Concord and Curtis Russell of Kannapolis. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
