He is survived by: his wife Eva Mae Phillips; his son Curtis Lee Browning Jr. of Landis; his brother John Browning Jr of Kannapolis; his grandchildren, Lorie Wilson (Dennis) of Salisbury and Todd Browning of China Grove; and his stepchildren, Justin Wayne Phillips of Rockwell, Rodger Dale Phillips (Dawn) of Kannapolis, Vickie Phillips Rogers (Darrell) of Rockwell, NC and Sherry Phillips Moore of Faith, NC..
