It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clydia Johnson of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Weaks and Edna Mae Massey Weaks; and her brothers, Hubert Weaks and Marion Weaks. She is survived by: her husband Leonard Johnson of Concord, NC; her son Marlon Weaks; her grandchildren, Brylan Weaks and Ennzo Weaks; her siblings, Susie W. Smith (Myron) of Kannapolis, NC, James Massey of Mooresville, NC, Billy Massey of Kannapolis, NC and Jimmy Lee Weaks of Kannapolis, NC; her daughter-in-law Amy Weaks of Kannapolis, NC; and her close friends, Ann Smith of Kannapolis, NC and Theresa Smoutherson of Concord, NC.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Living Water A Church of God (166 N Little Texas Rd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
