Charlie Gibson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2020, at the age of 97, Charlie Gibson of Kannapolis, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel T. Gibson and Mattie Cranfield Gibson; his wife Molly Humble Gibson; his son Terry Gibson; and his siblings, Geneva Hunter, Beulah Tanaka and Lewis Gibson.
He is survived by: his children, Patsy Melton (John) of Salisbury and James Gibson (Jeannie) of Concord. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren, and many other loved relatives.
