He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Litten Dayvault and Martha Allman Dayvault (Polly). He is survived by: his wife Leslie Chapman Dayvault; his son Ryan (Traci) of Kannapolis; his cousins, Wayne Dayvault (Kathleen) of Little River, SC and Bobby Dayvault (Mary) of Kannapolis; his extended family, John, Carole Pizzuto and Nancy Hutchens; his cousin Chris Hughes; and his friend Larry Beaver.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Kannapolis History Associates, PO Box 21, Kannapolis, NC 28082 to honor Gregg's passion for Kannapolis history.
