He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Clinton Tucker and Gennive Elizabeth Mills Tucker; his sons, Boyd and Ted Tucker; and his siblings, Ruby Tucker, Melvin and Jason Tucker.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Bowles Tucker; his children, Debbie Burris (Jim) of Kannapolis, Ava Tucker of Kannapolis, Donna Duffell (Steve) of China Grove and Michael Tucker (Stephanie) of Kannapolis; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Burris, Kelly Pethel, Josh Duffell, Ashley Shinn, Erica Tucker and LeAnn Tucker. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
