It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Sue Morris of Kannapolis, North Carolina, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Dove Tarte and Margaret Lowder Tarte; and her sisters, Louise Tarte Connell and Beth Tarte Tucker. She is survived by: her husband James "Ronald" Morris; her children, Scott Swaringen (Laurie Ashley) and Shayne Swaringen Fesperman (Lynn); her stepdaughter Jamie Martin (Tom); her grandchildren, Jesse Swaringen, Berkeley Swaringen, Zach Fesperman (Brandi), Alex Fesperman, Kaila Martin and Justin Martin; her great grandchildren, Robin and Jamie Swaringen; and her sister Cheryl Tarte Ownbey (Bobby).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Judes which Carolyn supported and to the Parkinson's Foundation.
