The memory of Carolyn Ledbetter of Kannapolis, North Carolina, born in Grapeland, Texas, who passed away on June 4, 2024 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Scoggin and Alma Scoggin; her husband Max Wallace Ledbetter; her grandson Coleman Mitchell; her son-in-law Michael Cawley; and her siblings, Bob, Jerry Scoggin, Evelyn Lane, Ruby Clark and Faye Scoggin.
She is survived by: her daughter Angela Mitchell (Roland) of Kannapolis; her grandchildren, Tyler Mitchell (Taylor), Tinley of Jonesboro, AR and Hayden Mitchell of Kannapolis; her daughter Teressa Cawley; and her grandson Michael Joseph Cawley of Boca Raton, FL.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a tax-deductible donation may be made to the Coleman Mitchell Foundation, 5555 Dogwood Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28081. 100% of these funds will go to the work being done in Uganda.
