It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Minerva Cook Litaker (Kannapolis, North Carolina), born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on October 17, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ephraim Cook and Ada Lewis Cook; and her husband Harry David Litaker. She is survived by: her children, Janet Campbell of Kannapolis, Kathryn Cushman of Kannapolis, David Lee Litaker of Kannapolis and Julie Lail of Mooresboro. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
