It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Brooks Hunter Kaye of Kannapolis, North Carolina, born in Chesterfield, South Carolina, who passed away on February 9, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Hunter, Sr.; and her parents, Dewey Teal Brooks and Rebecca Gladys Lisenby Brooks. She is survived by: her sons, John Hunter, Jr. (Kay) of China Grove, Steve Hunter (late Penny Hunter), Rev. Dean Hunter (Laura Jane) of Landis and Dewey Hunter (Miranda); her stepdaughter Michelle Hunter Stringer; her grandchildren, Kyndall, Henry, Adah Jane, Amber, Holly, Jordan, Cierra, Jared Wagoner and Zach Tucker; and her niece Lee-Anne Davies.
