She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Rhyne and Earlene Knox; her siblings, Melody Knox, Cynthia Brown Terry, Eric Knox, Alex Rhyne, James Grier and Shelton Grier; and her grandson Benjamin Kennedy.
She is survived by: her daughter Capica Knox of Kannapolis, NC; her granddaughter Cedreanna Kennedy of Kannapolis, NC; her siblings, Angela Tingle, Alan Grier and Richard Grier (Tyelisha); her nephews, Sharod Knox and Yohance Stewart; and her aunts, Ruby Smith (Lance) and Carol Cruse. She is also survived by cousins, other relatives, and friends.
