She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois H. Clayton and Lucy Taylor Clayton; her husband Boyce Pressley; her daughter Jean P. Rutherford; and her brothers, Billy, Charles and Daniel Clayton.
She is survived by: her daughter Gale Pressley Kelly (David) of Kannapolis; her grandchildren, Miranda Tilley (Andrew) of Concord, Casey Jones (Tyler) of Columbia, SC and Corbin Murray (Callie) of Kannapolis; her great grandchildren, Harlan, Leland, Wren, Winter and Wade; and her sister Opal Burris of Kannapolis. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
