He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverand Jr. Easom and Mary Easom; his son Anthony (Tony); and his sisters, Peggy (Bill) and Delores (Dick).

He is survived by: his children, Tonya (Kevin) and Wade Jr. (Carrie); his grandchildren, Becca (Jonathon), Kaitlin, Kai and Phoenix; and his brother James Roy (Linda). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

“Wade Eason and his precious family, his parents and siblings, were a part of my family, since he and I were little children when his father, Pastor J. R. Eason pastored my grandparents church in Erwin, NC. His daddy performed my parents' wedding. Our families continued to be close even when Pastor Eason transferred to another church. Later, Wade's sister, Deloris and her husband were with us when my daddy pastored the Plymouth NC church. I have so many wonderful memories of Wade and his family.”
