She was predeceased by: her parents, James Steepleton and Zeobia Parks Steepleton; her husband Benjamin Dupree; her daughter Bonita Dupree; and her siblings, James Willis Steepleton, Voidell Steepleton, Ivan Steepleton, Zenobia Steepleton, Gwendolyn Reese, Jorutha Johnson and Katherine Steepleton.
She is survived by: her son Benjamin Dupree; her daughter-in-law Leann Dupree; and her nephews, Ray Mitchell Johnson, Ivan Steepleton (Brenda), Joseph Steepleton and Jackson Steepleton.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church (204 N Little Texas Rd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
