He is survived by: his children, Devonda Johnson (Untrell), Lori Ann Fortson South and Billy; his grandchildren, Alicia Ramirez (Yaisa), Stephanie and Steven Cureton of Kannapolis, NC; his nephew Donald O. Fortson; and his nieces, Carla Carson of Kannapolis, NC, Paula Robinson (Oliver) of Kannapolis, NC and Anita Johnston of Kannapolis, NC. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
