She was predeceased by: her parent Clyde Furr; and her former husband Howard Sherrill. She is survived by: her parent Fannie Hudson Furr; her husband George Perry; her children, Randy Sherrill of Gastonia, Donnie Sherrill (Barbara) of Stanfield and Debbie Stegall of Lexington; her sister Alice Hagler of Concord; and her grandchildren, Joshua, Matt, Lindsey Sherrill, Daniel Stegall (Cindi) and Justin Stegall (Brittany).
