We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Betty Pethel (Kannapolis, North Carolina), born in Franklin, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl F. McDuffie and Eunice Hanley McDuffie; and her siblings, Marion, James, Earl, Willie McDuffie, Mary Sue Lunsford, Blondine Cromer, Elsie Brown and Joan Freeman.

She is survived by: her brothers, Farm and Cannon Mills; her daughters, Sandra G. Prevette (Joel) of Concord and Susan G. Bostian (Rich) of China Grove; her grandchildren, Jeremy Prevette (Amanda) and Kelsey B. Davidson (Justin); her great grandchildren, KImber Prevette, Rylan Davidson, Tessa Prevette and Reece Davidson; and her sister Francis Cook (Shorty) of Kannapolis.

Memorials should be directed to Bethpage United Methodist Church, 109 Fellowship Ave, Kannapolis, NC 28081, with the specific goal of supporting the church Agape Garden that helps feed the community.
