Betty Lenora Phillips Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2025, at the age of 89, Betty Lenora Phillips of Kannapolis, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Betty Lenora may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty Lenora touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cauthen and Pauline Dennis Cauthen; her husband Larry "Buddy" Phillips; and her brother John Cauthen. She is survived by: her daughter Lynn Phillips Russell (Mark Russell) of Kannapolis.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (101 N Main St, Kannapolis, NC 28081). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Carolina Memorial Park (601 Mt Olivet Rd, Concord, NC 28025).
