He is survived by: his mother Katherine Columbus Hamrick (James) of Kannapolis; his son Benny Sloan, III of Charlotte, NC; his granddaughter Novia Sloan of Concord, NC; his father Apostle Benny Sloan, Sr. (Constance) of Kannapolis; and his siblings, Kewanna Bigelow (Gary) of Salisbury, NC, Brittany Foley (Wade) of Kannapolis, Nicole (Tyrone) of Kannapolis, Millicent Reid (Anthony) of Mooresville, NC, Tyrell Sloan of Kannapolis, Antonio Bell (Laura) of Concord, NC and Lamonte Bell of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
