She was predeceased by: her parents, John Vernon Adams and Vinie Rogers Adams; and her siblings, Trilba Allmon, Juanita Lambert, Pearl Ballard, Stanly Adams and Vernon Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Rowland (Donnie L. Rowland) of Matthews, Reid Hammonds of Kannapolis and Keith Hammonds of Cary, NC; her granddaughter Chelsea Rowland; and her sister Estelle Wyatt of Landis.
