He was predeceased by: his parents, William Odell Bragg and Bertie Carey Bragg; his brother Wayne G. Bragg; his son Phillip Wayne Bragg; and his son-in-law Whit Whitley.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Frances Miller Bragg; his children, Steven William Bragg of Deep Gap, Karan Bragg Whitley of Concord and Mark Clayton Bragg (Christi) of Huntersville; his daughter-in-law Barbara Bragg of Mooresville; his great grandchildren, Owen Whitcomb, Aubrey Whitcomb, Jonah Bragg, Ty Earnhardt, Bo Earnhardt, Rosie Ciblak and William Carroll; and his sister-in-law Ann Kay Bragg of Deep Gap. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
