He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Dancy and Leona Belle Morris Dancy. He is survived by: his wife Olivia Dancy; his children, Marlene Dancy, Laurel Dancy (Chris Hunter) and Brent Dancy; his grandchildren, Meggan Dancy Moss (Kory) and Brayden Dancy; and his great grandchild Wrenn Moss. He is also survived by his great grandson on the way; as well as other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church (301 Mt Olivet Rd, Concord, NC 28025). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to Mt Olivet Methodist Church or Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County.
