It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Marie Nunn of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on August 31, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Morgan and Lillian Stiller Morgan; and her husband Sam Akers Nunn, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Sam Akers Nunn, III of Kannapolis and Dale Nunn (Julie) of China Grove; her grandchildren, Kristen Nichole Nunn, Felicia Michelle Prevette (Eddie), Michael Dale Nunn (Jessica) and Joshua Kevin Burr (Rheanna); her great grandchildren, Sophia, Hudson, Xander and Logan; her sisters, Grace Bolick, Alice Conklin and Ruth Gryder; and her sister-in-law Edna Rose Morgan.
The family requests that memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
