It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Elaine Martin (Kannapolis, North Carolina), who passed away on December 25, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Doy Edwards and Claudia Edwards (Smith) of Atwell Township; her husband Bobby Martin; and her siblings, Naomi Scarborough and Joe Edwards.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Finch (Jerry) of McKinney and Jean Mills (Larry) of Mooresville; her siblings, Hilda Chester, Jerry Edwards (Rachel), Irene Ashley, Bill Edwards, Donnie Edwards (Kim) and Shirley Barry (Bill); her grandchildren, Marsha Anderson, Christopher Mills, Jonathan Mills and Jennifer Knag (Keith); and her great grandchildren, Rachel Rhoad (Trevor), Sydney Brown, Savannah Anderson and Gabriel Mills.
