She was predeceased by: her husband James "Ox" Greeson; her parents, Trixie Cooper and Ollie Cooper; her brothers, R. C. Cooper and Lewis Cooper; and her sister-in-law Janet Cooper.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Norman (Bruce) of Julian and Jimmy Greeson of Burlington; her sister-in-law Hilda Humble of Pleasant Garden; her grandchildren, Jamie Norman (Tammy) of Julian, Justin Greeson of Kernersville and Katy Greeson of Myrtle Beach; and her great grandchildren, Madison Perdue (Colton) of Pleasant Garden, Brett Norman of Julian, Jenna Shores of Myrtle Beach and Ruby Quinn Greeson of Kernersville.
The lying in state was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the George Brothers Funeral Service (803 Greenhaven Dr, Greensboro, NC 27406). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Coble's Evangelical Lutheran Church (5200 Coble Church Rd, Julian, NC 27283).
