He is survived by: his uncle Noah; his aunt Ethel Hester; his wife Betty Covington Bowman; and his siblings, Hazel Kimrey, Rachel Thomas, Orpha Wiseman, Jake Bowman and Lacy Bowman. He is also survived by friends, nieces and nephews.
