He was predeceased by: his parents, William June May and Mary Jenlee Leard May. He is survived by: his wife Sybil May; his son Thomas Dale May (Stephanie Wilson); his siblings, Linda Gail Forrest (Pat), Jo Medlin, Jane Straughn and William "Straw" Wayne May; and his mother-in-law Letha Joyce Parker Griffin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
