It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Dee Williams Clapp of Julian, North Carolina, who passed away on July 4, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Lena McDonald Hamilton; her husband Lewis Ray Clapp; her son Benny Ray Clapp; and her grandson Adam Christopher Staley. She is survived by: her daughter Dee Ann Staley (Gwynn); her daughter-in-law Donna Clapp; her grandchildren, Dennis Clapp (Laura), Julie Powell (Jay) and Kellie Zimmerman (Michael); her great grandchildren, Dottie Brock, Ashton Clapp, Ethan Powell, Elijah Zimmerman and Finlee Zimmerman; and her great great grandchild Bentlee Brock.
