He was predeceased by: his sister Wanda Gorrell; and his parents, Marvin Straughan and Geneva Straughan. He is survived by: his wife Jane Straughan; his children, Haley Kennon (Wesley), Theresa Edwards (Scott), Kenneth Straughan, Katherine Straughan and Wanda Denny (Schonn); his grandchildren, Alan, Schonn, Sydney, Corey, Nick and Shana; and his great grandchild Jayci.
