It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Flinchum Clapp of Julian, North Carolina, born in Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vester Flinchum and Lena Ruth Flinchum; and her husband Fred Auman Clapp. She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Fox (Dan) and Linda Murray (Mike); her grandchildren, Lindsay Fox, Will Fox (Alexandra), Morgan Murray and Jameson Murray (Alissa); and her sister Patricia Shoffner (Terry). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
