She was predeceased by: her parents, Curly Dew Kelly and Lillie Mae Carter Kelly; and her siblings, Willie Kelly, Leonard Kelly, Tillie Butler and Mary Ruth Treadaway.
She is survived by: her husband Julian Deese; her children, Cathy Deese Grantham of Hartsville, SC and Tim Deese (Joyce) of Polkton; her grandchildren, Rick Davis of Chesterfield, SC, Chase Davis (Tracy Spencer) of Chesterfield, SC, Jamie Diggs of Wadesboro and John Diggs of Wadesboro; her great grandchildren, Colbi Griffin (Garrett) of Polkton, Kendal Diggs (Brandon Eddins) of Norwood, Alyssa of Chesterfield, SC, Jaylynn of Chesterfield, SC, Austin Curry of Chesterfield, SC, Wyatt Adams of Chesterfield, SC, Hunter Blackwell of Chesterfield, SC and Jorja Diggs of Oakboro; and her siblings, Wayne Kelly (Linda) of Morven and Julie Grooms (Barry) of Lilesville.
