She is survived by: her husband David Clarence Newman; her children, Ann Nixon (Tommy), Sylvia Foster (Phil), Janie Jenkins (Ronnie), Randy Newman and Jeff Newman (Denise); her siblings, Sue Long and Edworth Day; and her significant other Reba Sheldon (Roger). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
