He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Aaron Thompson and Naomi Simmons Thompson of Jonesville; his wife Brenda Cranfill Thompson; his son Andrew Thompson; his stepdaughter Jennifer Ransom (Jimmy); his stepgrandchildren, Colby Ransom (Clara) and Wake Ransom (Jessica); and his stepgreat-grandson Rooker Ransom.
