He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Wayne Goad and Linda Ann Wiles Goad; and his grandparents, Worth and Helen Wiles. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Pierce Goad; his sister Lisa Goad Bowling (Corey); his nieces, Bella Bowling and Blair Bowling; and his aunt Dare Wiles Conolley (Gary).
